Glyaxia II Drop Info Dump

http://onelldesign.blogspot.com/2014/05/mission-details.html
The Glyos Transmissions Web Log posted the menu for this Sunday's Glyaxia release.  Called Glyaxia II: Escape from Block Base this collection has a lot of yellow, a lot of blue, and some surprises to be named later.

Also notable is a $1 Armorvor price increase, the return of vinyl pieces, and some other goodies.  The Glyaxia Command Sentinel (left) was teased in some art on the Onell blog ages ago, so it's nice to see it finally making the transition to the third dimension.

In case you're in a horrible future in which the Onell blog is no longer online, see the menu for Sunday, May 11's drop below.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Ecroyex Guardian Syclodoc Action Figure

Onell Design Glyos Ecroyex Guardian Syclodoc Action FigureEver since its introduction, variations on the Ecroyex Guardian Syclodoc have had one or two heads - this one has two to choose from, which is nice. It also sports that swell Glyaxia symbol on the shoulder, which is one of the reasons I bought it. Sure, it looked cool, but I like that logo so much I want it on a t-shirt.

Onell Design Glyos Ecroyex Guardian Syclodoc Action FigureStanding at about 4 1/2-inches tall, this vinyl monster is made of 11 pieces of vinyl and the parts can be swapped with some other toys, like the Rig, the Block, or the giant Mordle. This time around, the figure has been given a giant red eye with a white dot in the center and grey panel lines - as few Glyos figures have panel lines lately, it's neat to see again. The bright red really pops in the Syclodoc's head, while the alternate Armodoc noggin looks like a drawing that came to life. The colors contrast nicely and the grey looks like it fell out of some weird ancient space painting. It's worth noting that the paint color matching is exquisite - the light blue arm and leg pieces are molded in light blue, while the head highlights are painted light blue. This is tough to pull off well, but it seems Onell Design always gets it right somehow.

Glyos Onell Design December 1 2013 Drop Menu

And here it is! Click here to see the December 2 2013 Onell Design drop menu.  The Ecroyex Initiative!

No new molds today, but there's a swell Syclodoc that sold out pretty much immediately.  The surprises were a pair of orange figures - Noboto and Crayboth - and a generally swell selection of parts and pieces, including another fine Sarvos.

There are more indie releases coming - the Four Horsemen will have new Power Soliders on December 2, and more Mordles are expected as well.  Stay tuned!

Ecroyex Drop Glyos Details Revealed

http://onelldesign.blogspot.com/2013/11/mission-details.html
A positively preposterously gorgeous drop is on deck for this weekend!   Onell Design posted the latest Mission Details, with the Ecroyex Commander Cynorico Sarvos (pictured) being one of several stunning new releases on deck.

An equally beautiful Syclodoc will be joining more Crayboth, an Armorvor, and pretty much all of the major molds that aren't vinyl.  It's going to be an expensive release, but at least it's some of the most gorgeous stuff you've ever dropped a few sawbucks on, right?

An as-of-yet unknown $8 mystery figure is also up for grabs on Sunday, December 1, at 9:30 PM EST.

Onell Design Ecroyex Drop - New Glyos This Weekend?

The Ecroyex Syclodoc (pictured) is one of the items being previewed for this weekend's Glyos Drop!  Metallic red and blue are on deck, but as to what specifically?  Well, we don't know yet - a full menu is slated to be posted tomorrow.

This posting has more details - be ready at 9:30 PM on December 1 with a wad of cash, because apparently the most gorgeous hunk of vinyl this side of the giant Mordle will be up for grabs.  (You had better leave me one.)

Glyos Onell Design September 8 2013 Drop Menu

It's up! It seems like most (if not all) items from the Enigma Source release from Onell Design are live now and you can click here to see what's left.

I would expect the pink Morderius Gobon will go soon, as will the swell Syclodoc - I spent more than is reasonable, as this was a pretty fantastic batch.  I'm a little surprised the new guys didn't blow out, but that's good news for you as you can actually get these great new figures.

And the Armorvor. Don't miss the Armorvor.

Glyos Enigma Source Mission Deets

Along with some so-vivid-I-can't-believe-it's-real imagery, Onell Design posted the list of Enigma Source mission details.  The drop has a lot of pink, a lot of purple, and some mystery figures.  It's also worth noting that the Ivorinium Noboto will be back (as promised) along with matching Hub sets, Crayboths, and Glyans.  3 additional Noboto flavors will be available, as will a pink and purple Armorvor, a new Syclodoc for the first time in months, and yet another stunning Sarvos figure.

It's a solid mix - if you're new to this line, many of the molds available from Onell Design will be available in this release.   There will also be a clear pink Gobon, which is notable as there hasn't been a clear Gobon for years and this gives the robotic tubby guy additional personality with a visible second head in his belly.  (Of course I'm buying one and so should you.)

Click here to see it at the source, or scroll down for the copy I pasted here.  (Oh, and check out this Major Matt Mason Scorpio-inspired build.  Gorgeous.)

Review: Onell Design Glyos Syclodoc Syclowave Action Figure

Onell Design Glyos Syclodoc Syclowave Action FigureFirst there was the Armodoc, then there was the Syclodoc. Early this year it evolved into Syclowave, a big purple guy inspired by Phil Reed of Battlegrip.com as well as Transformers. It sold out incredibly quickly, no doubt due to it being a relatively new head design combined with an awesome homage and the generally rabid nature of Glyos fans. It hasn't exactly caught fire on the secondary market, which is good as it means you may be able to get one at a price that's not too high... the few on eBay as of my writing this didn't sell due to the higher starting bid prices.

Glyos Drop - Live Now, Surprise Infection Exellis

The Glyos Store has been updated right now, with a surprise - a clear red Infection Exellis!

The Red Glyan is the first figure to go, with the Crayboth and Syclodoc seemingly next to sell out - if you're reading this during the few minute window, you'd better go grab them while you can.  It looks like another night of sell-throughs is going to happen, so go ahead and order your figures or weep that you missed them.

We'll print the full menu of available releases later this evening or early tomorrow.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Syclodoc Neutralizer Action Figure

Onell Design Glyos Syclodoc Neutralizer Action FigureWith a limit of 2 per customer, the Syclodoc Neutralizer sold out in about 4 minutes. This doesn't seem to be too abnormal, as any new pieces from Onell Design tend to fly off the digital shelves pretty dang fast. This one builds on the classic vinyl Armodoc and adds a new color with a new head sculpt, inspired at least a little bit by Gundam's Zaku. The Armodoc now comes with a default Syclodoc noggin, which has a big black eye with a white dot in the center.

Glyos Drop Arrivals (And Freebies)

They're here!  The latest Onell Design Glyos drop sold out pretty quickly, and as luck would have it there were unique bonuses in the shipping boxes!  A White Pheyden Head, Torso, and Scarf were included in one baggie, while an all-white unpainted Crayboth was in another.  Great custom fodder on both accounts, hopefully the company will do another run of plain white Crayboth for those looking to do some DIY deco on these.

It's also worth noting that Syclowave is pretty awesome, and does not include an alternate classic Armodoc head.  The last issue had both Armodoc heads, so this Shockwave-inspired creation is a little different.

As far as I know, there were no other surprises... I'll be opening the bags over the coming day(s) and posting reviews as time permits!  Everything looks great, as always.

Friday Drop - Two More Glyos Previews

The new sale is Friday night, but a couple of last-minute previews are up now!  Meet the purple Syclowave, available for previewing at BattleGrip.com right now.  Also check out the brown fur head of the new Sonesidar Mimic Armorvor, shown in its "Axorvor" enhanced build at the Glyos Transmissions Web Log.  Nice!

The vinyl Syclodoc figure is $25.  The Armorvor is $8.  And they'll both sell out in less than 30 minutes or your pizza is free.

Revealed: The Other Syclodoc Armodoc Head

Selling out super-quickly a few days ago, the Onell Design Syclodoc included an all-new head (not pictured) with one big eye inspired by one of Japan's great robot franchises.

What you may not have known (as pics weren't shown) is that it included a second head.  A classic Armodoc head was also included, decked out with black, white, grey, and dark red paint.  It matches perfectly on the body and is a heck of a nice bonus!

If you want to get one of these, well, you can't.  It sold out in a few minutes.  We hope you got one, and if you missed it a new colorway should be available at some point in the new year.  (And if it's not, well, I'm not clairvoyant or anything.)

Syclodoc Concepts at Onell's Glyos Blog

You should have seen this by now, but if you  haven't, go see it.  Lots of great concept arts and commentary on the Glyos Transmissions Web Log for the December 12 release of the first-ever Syclodoc!

There are other pieces of art (like a colored yellow/blue version.) They are cool.  I would totally buy that.
