The Godbeast Drop for February 24, 2023

It's here! The Godbeast has a new drop with Galactic Microshin (clear colorless with holo glitter) and Xenoglow (a new green glow) for the grabbing while supplies last. Review: Toy Pizza Knights of the Slice Frankenslice Crowkin Action Figure

"The Quest for the Lime" drop included some newish and mishmash figures, like Frankenslice Crowkin. Using Onell Design and Knights of the Slice elements, this 3 5/8-inch figure isn't as big as his KOTS peers but is bigger than most Onell Design figures. Weird animal figures tend to be a lot of fun, especially when they avoid being too cartoony or too realistic. This one looks almost like an action figure you might've seen in the 1980s.

Glyos Onell Design February 19 2023 Drop Menu

Wave 96!  The Onell Design mini-wave just landed and features eight total items - that's five figures and three accessory items, for those keeping track at home.  The Manglors are the second released batch of these guys and the first ones in transparent colors, all for a mere $20.  It's a good batch for building your own mutations in orange and red.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Crayboth Infection Action Figure

 The Crayboth Infection is in a clear red color, but it was never actually announced - you just opened your order from The Reydurran Divide wave and you might have received one. It's nothing special, and that's why I liked it - I always wanted to get eight of the little guys in Crayola crayon colors, and the pictures you see here were taken wheN I was trying it out way back in April and May of 2013.

Onell Design Wave 96 Drops Sunday

More Glyos!  Onell Design has a mini-drop Sunday night! Set your calendars for February 19, 2023 at 9:30 PM EST for... we don't know.  It looks like an orange Pheyden and a Manglor to match the Kaisyriax/Pheyaos from the December 16 launch.

PSA: Pick Up Your Old Glyos Figures

 If you have a lot of old Glyos figures - specifically, some of the softer ones that came out in or around 2010 - you might want to go pick them up.  I noticed some of my Alpha Phase 2010 The Outer Space Men and some Onell Design figures, like Comrado Sarvos here, were the tiniest bit sticky - presumably from plasticizers or mold release oils or other materials over time.  You may find this to be a good time to wipe them down with a damp cloth if yours are, too.

I keep my figures in a dark, dry, cool closet so I was a little surprised - but I also remember some of my old 1980s Kenner Star Wars figures aging similarly around 2002.   They're mostly all fine now if I wiped them down back then, so in between unboxing your  new drops, be sure to see how your old figures are doing.  They may be fine, but sometimes old figures need a bit of a cleaning.

Also, the pink on mine seems a little paler - I'm not sure if it's the photo, or time passing, so take a look at yours and let me know how it looks.

Bio-Masters Drop Menu for February 10, 2023

Pre-Order Now: Manglors Wave 1.5 Menu, Mangord First Impressions

 Surprise! After a quick sell-out, ToyFinity posted a pre-order for a rerun of the standard Manglord as well as "Proto" deco Mordles and Manglord figures.  Pre-order wraps Friday, figures expected in May.

Click here for the press release/news post.  I just got my Manglord in the mail this afternoon, and I'd say it's worth picking up if you're a 3 3/4-inch figure fan.  He's smaller than Outer Space Men Colossus Rex/Star Wars The Vintage Collection Yak Face, but bigger than Kenner's Marvel Legends Retro Venom.  Review to follow... but be sure you buy at least one Manglord and I'd recommend those Kaisyriax update arms for funsies, too.

I wish our pal John Kent wild success... and not just because we hope he cranks out Manglodragons and various dinosaurs in the next few years, too.

Rocom Toys Mighty Maniax Drop Menu 2/3/2023

 New glow in the dark figures - plus the Raven, and some cool accessories - from Rocom Toys!  A new Mighty Maniax drop is up right now.

It's worth noting the "blue glow" figure in the picture is actually green glow under a UV light.  I included the alternate picture below just for your distant future reference.

Review: Outer Space Men Galactic Holiday Cobaltus of the Voidrillion Command Colossus Rex Action Figure

I have plenty of The Outer Space Men figures. I really didn't need this Galactic Holiday Cobaltus of the Voidrillion Command Colossus Rex but, also, I did. These guys are a lot of fun to mess with thanks to their accessories and how they scale with a lot of my favorite childhood figures... plus they look like they could have and indeed should have been in the background of 1970s space comic books. Mr. Rex was based on a bendy figure from Colorforms from 1969 who was big and green and had a mace. In 2013, the very first pull of the mold came out and the manufacturers added an armor, a big axe, and a shield along with alternate hands. It was a lot of plastic, and the hefty Jovian stands five inches high.
