Glow Manglors Sunday at ToyFinity Sunday at 8:00 PM Eastern

According to his post on Instagram, John Kent will be selling glow Manglors - and more! - at 8:00 PM Eastern on Sunday, August 18.  Zeroids, Star Team, and Mordles are also slated to be on tap in some form.

 Manglors and Mordles and Eggs, oh my!  The proto deco is here, but so is the purple Dactylian flavor! Neato.   At $20 the purple Manglor is actually quite cheap, and comes highly recommended if you don't already have one.  Click here to check availability.  The Standard Manglor is also still up for grabs, and that's a gem of a good figure.  I hope you got one if you wanted one!

Pre-Order Now: Manglors Wave 1.5 Menu, Mangord First Impressions

 Surprise! After a quick sell-out, ToyFinity posted a pre-order for a rerun of the standard Manglord as well as "Proto" deco Mordles and Manglord figures.  Pre-order wraps Friday, figures expected in May.

Click here for the press release/news post.  I just got my Manglord in the mail this afternoon, and I'd say it's worth picking up if you're a 3 3/4-inch figure fan.  He's smaller than Outer Space Men Colossus Rex/Star Wars The Vintage Collection Yak Face, but bigger than Kenner's Marvel Legends Retro Venom.  Review to follow... but be sure you buy at least one Manglord and I'd recommend those Kaisyriax update arms for funsies, too.

I wish our pal John Kent wild success... and not just because we hope he cranks out Manglodragons and various dinosaurs in the next few years, too.

ToyFinity January 29 2023 Drop Menu

The new ToyFinity store is open - with Manglors!  Three flavors are up reaching across price points and option parts.  (I snagged Standard, as is the way of my people.)   The new Mordles already sold out, and the eggs (made from the original molds!) are back again.  Check out the menu and click here to see availability.

For those who keep track of such things, the Manglor was sculpted by Matt Doughty and Erwin Papa.  Also, the Manglor - Standard, Mordles, and Primitive Manglor all sold through within hours.

Of note, there are two configurations crossing over with Onell Design Kaisyriax parts.  Also at $3 those eggs are cheap - I don't know if it's the same exact glow as 2013 or not, but hey, $3.

ToyFinity Adds New Mordles, Robo Force, Zeroids, More Goodies

They're here!  They're new!  The ToyFinity Store has a simply gorgeous update with the pretty fantastic Robo Force Sentinel the Protector along with Mystery Mordles, a Neo Zeroid, a blank Robo Force kit, a Darkness Soldier, and some other goodies.  Click here to see what's left.

The good/bad/great thing about Robo Force is just how much meat are on those bones - each kit includes a ton of parts for building, reconfiguring, and customizing.  They're also not the cheapest - but there's a lot of plastic in a bag.  Check 'em out.

Review: ToyFinity Mordles Night Mordle Vinyl Figure

It's green! The Mordles Night Mordle Vinyl Figure brings you elements of two of Hasbro's bigger 1980s properties, and applies them to Mordles. You get the "cutie mark" (nee Tramp Stamp) of My Little Pony with colors and themes reminiscent of the 1980s G.I. Joe Night Force figures of 1988-1999. As a series of repaints, those two toy lines are a perfect fit for this, the fifth big vinyl 4-inch Mordle.

Review: ToyFinity Mordles EGD Vinyl Figure

It's yellow! The Mordles EGD Vinyl Figure is another jumbo vinyl release - yes, another one - and it really doesn't offer much new other than a creative deco. Which, let me tell you, was enough. I love these jumbo guys and the Pac-Man-esque figure goes great with the clear blue "ghost" Electra-Geists (sold separately). A few years ago I was kicking around a similar idea for Crayboth figures in ghost colors and a Syclodoc with yellow Pac-Man-esque helmet deco... but this is better. It's great, I love it, and I'm glad they did it.

Club Mordle Year 2 Drop 1 Up Now

If you're a club member, Club Mordle is live!  The EGD Jumbo Mordle (Yellow, Pac-Man esque) is joined by the Electra-Geist ten pack of clear blue figures, Ardaan's Mist (clear colorless with green eyes), and a couple of bonuses I dare not spoil in this post.

You have until Tuesday, July 15 to place your order as a club member.  We were also informed club packets are due in September or October, so there's that to look forward to.  

I do not have a non-club drop date yet, but odds are it'll be after July 15.  I'm excited!

Club Mordle Year 2: Pac to the Future

Year 2 of Club Mordle is up for ordering right now!  Their post is very long, so here's the short version:

• Renewals are $12. New members, $20.
• You get Vision Mordles (test shots) randomly for free throughout the year.
• You get a membership packet.  Here is a look at last year's.  I think it was worth it.
• Membership runs between now and May 2015.

While I certainly don't need more repaints of the same molds I find these endlessly charming.  The Pac-Man inspired figures are an appropriate fit given the eater/food relationship of the line and hey, who wouldn't like a set of these?

Review: ToyFinity Mordles Quinhozs Vinyl Figure

Another one! Thankfully ToyFinity has kept the big Mordle releases tight, so figures like this Mordles Quinhozs Vinyl Figure aren't part of an endless, tiresome parade of expensive vinyl - instead, we've had 3 so far and each one is pretty cool for different reasons. The line kicked off with red, switched to glow in the dark, and now we're going for a Jaws-inspired grey figure with cold, black eyes of death and a little white patch on his chin/belly/whatever it is. I'm quite fond of the design, the original red figure has remained on my desk since I got him.

Review: ToyFinity Mordles Geihoza Vinyl Figure

Any time I hear that there's a new line coming from the same factory as Glyos, I wonder "so when do we get the glow in the dark version?" The Mordles Geihoza Vinyl Figure is, like the red Imbalance of Blood Mordle, compatible with vinyl Glyos figure parts like Armodoc limbs and Rig arms. I don't know how closely the glow matches, as I don't have any glowing Glyos vinyl just yet. (If you're selling, I'm buying.)

ToyFinity Glow in the Dark Mordles Up Now

Assuming you're a Club Mordle member, you can order Geihoza, the giant Glow in the Dark Mordle for $16!  The vinyl figure is compatible with Onell Design vinyl Glyos figures, as it has removable feet.

While not Glyos-compatible, Geist Mordles are up too for a measly $10 per set.  Click here and log in to order yours - if you have a Club Mordle login, that is.  If not, it should be available to you in a few days if any remain.

Review: Mordles Imbalance of Bood Vinyl Jumbo Mordle Figure

There's no secret - the guys behind ToyFinity love Glyos, and the Mordles Imbalance of Bood Vinyl Figure is compatible with the Glyos vinyl pieces. The figure comes to you unpackaged and unassembled, you pop in the feet and you're all set. Each foot plugs in with the same size peg used for Armodoc limbs and Rig arms, so if you'd like to give him guns for feet you can do that. I don't think I'd want to do that, but it's nice to have options.

ToyFinity Reveals Maxx Zero Test Shot - New Glyos Figure

After some teasing, here's the first really good look any of us have really seen of Maxx Zero, a new fully Glyos-compatible figure from the new Robo Force line.

John Kent writes: "It has been a long year of work to get Maxx Zero, Hun-dred and the rest ready for their return, but the figures are ready and attendees of NYCC will have the chance to get a special preview edition of these figures. Above, see Maxx Zero himself in orange test-shot colors.  He's 100% Glyos compatible and ready for all new missions."

Also in this post, he reveals new red Mordles with black highlights.  A large, jumbo Mordle has been teased to the masses and fully revealed to Club Mordle members, and hopefully all of this fun will be up for grabs shortly.  It is unknown what this nifty Maxx Zero will cost, what the first deco will look like, and all that jazz.  He certainly looks exciting though.

Review: ToyFinity Mordles Solar Storm (Hot Pink) Mini-Figures

If you have some Mordles odds are you don't need to collect them all - but you might. The insanely bright Solar Storm (Hot Pink) Mini-Figures are so bright, there's probably something wrong with them. By selecting a color more in line with a Lisa Frank notebook, team ToyFinity brought out something unexpected and interesting, which is a nice change of pace. The line of Mordles will probably feature repaints for quite some time, so this is a nice place to start rather than going to, say, red or brown.

Review: Mordles Standard Edition (Yellow) Mini-Figures

Meet your new favorite toy of the week! If you aren't a member of Club Mordle, the Mordles Standard Edition (Yellow) Mini-Figures go on sale Friday. The idea here is that these are newly-made figures based on the food for Rocks & Bugs & Things toys, which are pretty uncommon as toys go and the little figures are frequently missing. They're nifty 1980s-style figures and the price-per-figure is quite good. And this set even has an egg with it, and I can tell you that all 20 launch Mordles fit in it just fine for easy storage. Oh, and they have names!

As the other half of the launch products from ToyFinity, a new toy company run by a few fans and collectors you might have met, they join their blue siblings as a collectible mini figure, or as replacements for your Rocks & Bugs & Things toys. (Me, I've been trying to chase down a decent Rock or Bug for a good price since like February.)
