Review: Cappy Space Guardian Diver Action Figure

Several flavors of the Perfect Diver from the Toy Pizza crew came and went before I got the Guardian Diver Action Figure from Cappy Space. I'm trying to not get every last recolor - despite what reviews here may show - so I picked one that really spoke to me. The design is a great mix that reminds me of the Playmobil and Adventure People deep sea diver figures while also fitting in well with the whole Knights of the Slice thing. Also you get little jellyfish and manta ray heads, which basically serve as sidekicks or backpacks too. You get a lot of toy here for $32.

Review: Toy Pizza Zoner Capsule GITD Vehicle

I waited probably too long to get the Zoner Capsule GITD Vehicle. I was happy with the silver one [FOTD #2,551] but the more I thought about it, the less I wanted to fingerprint it up, and I wanted something else to play with to see how the unique "worn" and "dented" surface played out. When I got the Crowkin, I tossed in the two glow capsules. They're still utterly charming for entirely different reasons.

Glyos Onell Design April 16 2023 Drop Menu

Onell Design has a new drop up! Check out the new wave here because it has Armorvor, Manglor, Pheyden, Crayboth, and additional action.

For some reason, two figures did not go up on time.  Pheyden Pteragorr was an all-green figure, while the Crayboth Emissary still has no photo at this time.  But click here to see if the store updated. 

For future toy fanatics: as I write this, the drop went up 30 minutes late and has been up for about 70 minutes. It does not appear

 

Healey Preview for May and June?

 Word on the street was that the Healey Made figures would be doing all three figures in matching colors - after the Bulloch Trio, it looks like Shadow figures are up next.  Version 2 of the Shadow Raider as well as Version 1 of Shadow Assassin (not to be confused with R-Complex Assassin) are on the docket, so says this Instagram post.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Versirran Pheyden Action Figure

The Onell Design output is an amazing thing to watch, where you get hundreds - probably thousands now - of great little figures. So many, in fact, I can't get to them in a timely manner despite even having shot many pictures when I got them a long time ago. One such figure is the blue Versirran Pheyden, a lovely metallic swirly figure I've had sitting on the front of one of my Glyos shelves since I got it in 2012. The July 29, 2012 Drop Menu was just crazy with dozens of figures available (including a few old ones) at prices that are pretty amazing. It was in the drop that debuted the Venjorun Armorvor, which was a really exciting day.

 New from Healey Made - we don't know! It's a Trooper, it'll be the second painted release, and it'll be at 2:00 PM Eastern on Saturday, April 15.  It was announced on Instagram and we'll know more on Saturday!

Review: Onell Design Glyos Glyarmor Andromeda Action Figure

The Glyarmor Andromeda is a nice set - and I hope it's presented here as complete, because while I took photos of the baggie of parts, the numbers don't add up. The set should be 25 parts with 5 heads according to the Glyos Wiki and Onell Design's old menu. The bagged photo I have shows only 3 heads, and when I count the Spectre Pheyden MK. II base body with the armor, and the aforementioned 3 heads, I get 25 parts. Sometimes there are "stowaway" parts in a second bag, but given that I didn't shoot those with these, and what I present here are 25 parts, I am unsure if there's a typo somewhere. Maybe I goofed. If you know, write in, I'll update here and dig out the right pieces.
