 New! Healey Made dropped 2 new Glyos figures - Raider (Screaming Star) and Raider (Sky Grey) are up for $25 and $20, respectively.  Presumably he will be the new leader of your Raiders.

I've missed some surprise launches lately, so I would not recommend relying on this blog as your sole source of launch truth, which presumably you weren't, so good for you.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Versirran Crayboth

I started taking pictures of the unnamed freebie Versirran Crayboth back in 2012, with another batch in 2023, but never wrote the review. As far as I can tell there's no Glyos Wiki page for the "stowaways," the free figures Matt Doughty sometimes includes in shipments at no cost to remind you that you should always order something. Back in 2012, the Crayboth had been around for roughly four year and this guy was the 17th little critter in the line - so I had the wild idea that I would be all-in on Crays and complete the set. A few years later, I realized that was unlikely - and now we're up to hundreds of the little guys. They're all great, and with so many crossovers and freebies and promo figures that very few people are going to have them all. Cappy Space has a checklist which was last updated around 2023 and it is worth noting that a lot of these guys a) look similar and b) have no names elsewhere. If It weren't for documentation like this, I assume there would be no record anywhere of just how many of these guys were made over the years.

ItemLabel January 6, 2026 Drop Menu

It's new!  After an A/V Robot last year, ItemLabel has its first Pibipon figures up for grabs. They seem to be roly-poly and surprisingly versatile builds with enough parts to delight the cat/Furby/creature fans out there.  The glittery red DC Formanchie Jelly is particularly bouncy looking.  Click here to check availability.

 

Friday Night: Return of The GodBeast and Funkatello with LegionsCon Goodies

 Don't forget! The GodBeast has yet another drop Friday night with a whopping six figures - if not more.   Xenoglow, Standard, and Moderius pink editions of the new Monstor mold and the Sectivorian will be available at this link at 8:00 PM CST Friday.  Mark those calendars for November 21!

I'm still working on my reviews of the "Void" black-with-glitter versions, and both are excellent.

 There are no shortages of new teases.  Spaced Out Design is showing off its next Velgerian, this time strawberry scented!   I need to get one of these guys (in this or other colors) still.   Check it out on their blog, or go get one at LegionsCon.

New Onell Design Glyos Drop Tonight 4/17

Giving new definition to "playing the long game," Onell Design announced a drop for tonight which incorporates parts that haven't been run for over 12 years.  If you ever missed Govurom or Exellis, this might be your last chance to get them!   Back from the Past has all the detals, but the key one is they go live "tonight, April 17th at 9:30PM EDT."

Who says there aren't any surprises left in the toy space?

Review: Healey Made Raider (GID Blue) Action Figure

 I picked up a few different versions of this figure but initially skipped the Raider (GID Blue). Obviously, I went back and got it when an opportunity came up - and for $5 under a painted figure price, it's pretty decent. A low-run 3 3/4-inch figure with almost no paint may not sound appealing, but if you've been following you know it's cool because an ex-Kenner sculptor worked on it, and because it's a Glyos system figure. That means the glow is good - it can glow for hours when charged by the Sun. For those keeping track, blue glow charges slowly but glows for hours. Red charges quickly, but burns out quickly. And green is in the middle.

Onell Design Wave 98 - Sunday at 9:30 PM Eastern

As foretold, Wave 98 from Onell Design drops Sunday, July 9 at 9:30 PM Eastern.  Set those calendars.  Other than the inclusion of some cloth parts and a Scar Pheyden in that teaser shot, details are scarce.

Here's hoping for some neat crossovers and special surprises as it's an anniversary wave. It's also worth noting there have been more waves of Onell Design Glyos figures than most successful action figure lines have total figures, so that's pretty amazing.  

July 4 Weekend Glyos Codes for Outer Space Men and Rocom Mighty Maniax

What could be more American than buying a bunch of stuff over July 4 weekend? If you're a Glyos fan, you've got two pretty decent sales this weekend to exploit.

At Rocom Toys, you can get 20% off an order of $50 or more when you pick up Mighty Maniax Glyos figures.  They said it on Instagram, it must be true.

Also, The Outer Space Men have what may be the best coupon in years - 40% off most items when you enter OSMJULY4 in the shop.  (I went ahead and picked up all the Bluestars I missed so far.)  It was also shared on Instagram.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Noboto Diversus Mutant Action Figure

 This is another good one. The Noboto Diversus Mutant from 2018 matches the Onell Design Outer Space Men Orbitron Diversus [FOTD #1,470] from 2016, and the colors seem like a near-perfect match. It's pretty amazing, and as far as I know these are only three Glyos figures to have this exact coloring - the other being a Crayboth, who missed photo day. I'd love to see another figure or two to match these guys some day, particularly a traveler with a grooved head. The brain pattern just looks amazing, even when it's a tampo like on the Diversus Mutant made with the Noboto/Quallerran mold.

New Cappy Space Drop Friday, June 9 with Bat? Ogre? Who Knows?

All we know is that we don't know nothing.  Cappy Space is showing off some preview images on Instagram.  One is a green hand coming out of a pond with a sword.  The other is the back of a bat-like head.  What does it all mean?  If I knew that, I wouldn't be writing this filler copy.   Click here to see his insta, or check the Cappy Space Bazaar on Friday, June 9, at 9:00 PM Eastern.  Or as we call it, synergy.

PSA: Pick Up Your Old Glyos Figures

 If you have a lot of old Glyos figures - specifically, some of the softer ones that came out in or around 2010 - you might want to go pick them up.  I noticed some of my Alpha Phase 2010 The Outer Space Men and some Onell Design figures, like Comrado Sarvos here, were the tiniest bit sticky - presumably from plasticizers or mold release oils or other materials over time.  You may find this to be a good time to wipe them down with a damp cloth if yours are, too.

I keep my figures in a dark, dry, cool closet so I was a little surprised - but I also remember some of my old 1980s Kenner Star Wars figures aging similarly around 2002.   They're mostly all fine now if I wiped them down back then, so in between unboxing your  new drops, be sure to see how your old figures are doing.  They may be fine, but sometimes old figures need a bit of a cleaning.

Also, the pink on mine seems a little paler - I'm not sure if it's the photo, or time passing, so take a look at yours and let me know how it looks.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Phaseon Renegade Hybrid Caliber

I got a lot of Glyos figures. I don't need more of them - but the Onell Design crew finds interesting ways to make multiple purchases interesting. This Phaseon Renegade Hybrid Caliber takes the very early odd ball Beanbot mold - which was tweaked to be a Phaseon - and transforms it yet again with parts from Phase Arm upgrade sets, a newly-tooled head, plus a new cloth cape which was also used with the Onell Design Glyos Gobon Renegade Hunter [FOTD #2,127] and a few other figures. The new head and cloth piece were designed to work in multiple configurations on multiple bodies, which is sort of the entire brilliance of this whole line. One small piece can give you a handful of new build options.

The very cool Healey Made Raider (Commander) is available now!  This 3 3/4-inch Glyos-compatible action figure is $25.  I have one of the previous releases and it's one of my favorites.

Glyos Black Friday 2019 Round-Up

In addition to the Bluestar Outer Space Men, quite a few new Glyos figures are up for ordering.

The painted $25 Shadow Raider is already sold out, but the green $20 Chlorophyll Raider is still available. The legend is the Healey Made team contacted an old Kenner sculptor to make a wholly new character for you sci-fi 3 3/4-inch toy fans.  Click here to check the store for availability.  Other than a blue proto version which sold quickly, these may be some of the first painted releases.
