Onell Design Wave 81 Arriving

Since Wave 81 arrived here at the Dump HQ on Friday, I decided to do something I should've been doing for a long time - group shots!  Here's what we got from the Onell Design Store.  The green Pheyos Rothan is still in stock, and Colossus Rex Tyraxsis just sold out as I was making this post late Friday night.   The brown Bigfoot-like Traveler Simiod Clone has sold out, but I'm sure someone will sell you one for like six million dollars.  The orange unpainted Crayboth was a free stowaway in my order - did anyone out there get any other freebie figures like other colors of Crayboth or perhaps rogue Outer Space Men accessories?

REVIEW: Onell Design Glyos Mutant Evolver Pheyaos Hyper Mordireus Fusion

Onell Design Glyos Mutant Evolver Pheyaos Hyper Mordireus Fusion Action FigureIf the 2 3/4-inch Mutant Evolver Pheyaos Hyper Mordireus Fusion looks familiar, it should! Onell Design and RealxHead have been conspiring together on figures for years, most of which sell out in 30 seconds and I've never really had a shot at them. The default head matches Pheyaos Mini and Pheyaos Man, with an all-new Glyos-compatible body that really does match the style of the RealxHead soft vinyl figures you missed and can't afford. A bonus face on the back of the head looks a little bit like the Chaos Trooper, but what truly amazed me was the color match of the plastic. If memory serves the first Mordireus Pink figures were sold in the December 12, 2012 drop with the likes of Sarvos and Crayboth and again in September 2013 with Noboto and Gobon.

Review: RealxHead Stryker Lock Mohawk

RealxHead Stryker Lock Mohawk Vinyl FigureHaving been following Glyos lightly since shortly after its inception and paying close-ish attention since 2010, I know RealxHead products don't come up much. Mori is a guy who makes low-run, hand-painted and assembled vinyl figures in tiny batches sold mostly through actual physical stores. This means you most likely aren't going to get them. The runs he does are small, and based on the numbers I saw in the carts on launch day Stryker Lock Mohawk sold through in under two minutes. You could still add units to your cart for somewhere under 120 seconds, and that's it - when I checked inventory it was down to double digits quite quickly, which prompted an announcement for a possible fourth run. (This would be the second US shot at the figures.) These products come and go quickly, and their hand-made low-run nature inspires the awed, hushed tones that make them something of the toy equivalent of cryptozoology.

RealxHead Onell Design April 15 2015 Drop Menu

Return of RealxHead! I got my order in for a figure, and it was still possible to add these to a cart for about 2 minutes after they first popped up. Click here to see the May 15 2015 Onell Design drop menu.

As far as I can tell, the drop seems to be somewhere in the lower double digits.   This post outlines that a second run is likely - and that this was the biggest run ever.  And it still sold out in 2 minutes.  Wow!

Onell Design Bringing RealxHead to You Wednesday

http://onelldesign.blogspot.com/2015/04/stryker-lock.html
Check it out! For years I've been following Glyos and reading about RealXHead, but never was able to get one.

On Wednesday, this changes.  Click here to see what $30 can get you Wednesday at 9:30 PM Eastern.

Stryker Mohawk and Stryker Crossborg are each 11 pieces of soft Japanese vinyl, merged to a 4-inch action figure.    If you want one, this is one you may actually be able to get for a change.

NYCC: The Glyos Show-Within-a-Show

There's a lot of news, but the most important thing is the NYCC Onell Design Booth Schedule.  The booth isn't a traditional booth - the sellers and vendors are swapped out regularly, making it a convention unto itself.

ToyFinity, Real-X Head, Spaced Out Design, The Godbeast, Bah'glenn, Rawshark, and everybody else that matters will be here - even the Four Horsemen.  It's killing me that I can't be there too, but if you can go, be sure to stop at NYCC booth #102.  It's looking great!

NYCC 2012 Glyos Happenings: The Schedule, The Booths

There's going to be a whole mess of people at the Onell Design (and friends) booth at New York Comic Con!  They rotate the occupants every few hours, so you people there for the whole show will see an insane amount of fantastic, wonderful plastic things.  Other booths have things for you Glyos fans, too!

Here are your known destinations for Glyos at the show:

#556: Action Figure Xpress: Outer Space Men
#3321: Ni Stuff: Ni's Stuff
#3216: Onell Design (Shared): Dang near everything
#3303: Toy Tokyo: Outer Space Men

I will not be able to attend, so if you're there please take pictures and send me links to your blog entries, or send me your pics to post.  I'd love to see what we're all missing!

The full, long breakdown at booth #3216 (Onell, Callgrim, TGB, etc.) is after the break. (Clicky clicky, it's the same thing from Onell Design because I copied it and pasted it here as I am a lazy thief.)   Be sure to stop by, The Godbeast always has something awesome to surprise you.  Bring cash.  You'll thank me after you spend all of it.
