C2E2 Exclusive Infection Armorvor by The Godbeast

If you're in Chicago later this month for C2E2, you're going to want to get this TGB Customs 2013 C2E2 Exclusive Glyos Armorvor Infection action figure.  Holy crap, I want one of these.  The trading card art is by Nathan Newell, and are limited to 3 per customer.  They're a cheap $10 per, so be sure to grab one and/or send your good friend to get one for you.  It looks like some hand-cast heads of other creatures will be on hand as well, and as you know we're quite fond of those too.

Gorgeous.

They'll be at Nerd City booth #967.  You can read more at the TGB Customs Blog.   (You can also buy an extra one for me. Just saying.  I'd do it for you.  Probably.)

Onell Posts Armorvor Concept Art, History

The Glyos Transmissions Web Log posted a hefty story for us all today with Armorvor: History and Concepts.  This really cool article shows off a number of Armorvor weapons which haven't been produced (yet at least) as well as detail the inspiration for the figure, who was involved in its birth, and even namechecks two other figures which were postponed to get him out first (Delphi, Noboto.)

...as much as I'm looking forward to a Delphi of my own, I think they made the right choice.   But hey, at least we know that a non-Custom Corps Delphi might be in the cards soon, right?

Armovor Artwork: Nathan Newell Illustrations

Your pal and mine Nathan Newell of Dork Dimension whipped up a whole mess of Armorvor artwork for the limited run castings of the figure over the last year.  Above, check the Armorvor Cobra, Armorvor Shark, Armorvor FlyBee, and Armorvor Wolf in their illustration forms!   Nathan's page (click) also has a bunch of castings of these figures, which are all pretty swell and show the heads on other Glyos figure bodies other than just the Armorvor.  The Godbeast also posted more of the card artwork.
