New Figure - Mystical Warriors of the Ring on 1/27

I just got a press release stating that Evolution Goliath goes on sale 1/27 for $6.00! Cheep.  The metallic green figure can be dismantled and was designed to work best with Armorvor and Kabuto Mushi action figures. 

 Be ready at 12:00 noon Central time.

Sunday Onell Design Release - Mission Details

Click here to see the (mostly) complete menu from Onell Design's Sunday release.  3 items are xxxed out so those, I assume, are the new Armorvors but we don't know for sure yet.  The new Sarvos is particularly nice, so be sure to check this out!

New Glyos Next Sunday - Redlaw Purple, Armorvor Too?

In the post "Redlaw Effect," Onell Design confirms a new release of figures scheduled for Sunday January 25 at 9:30 PM Eastern.

Other than the Redlaw Argen (pictured) nothing has been explicitly confirmed yet, but it looks like the Armorvor might be back - and if you'll recall, we were promised a new head for the next release.  Here's hoping!

Rise of the Beasts: Four New Figures Coming

Good news, everyone! Over on Instagram, New Rise of the Beasts 3D printouts are there for the seeing.

A horned lizard (shown) looks incredible alongside an ant, a lion, and an ape.  No release date has been listed, but fear not - a new, green drop of the rhino and scorpion are due soon and they're pretty dang fantastic. (Also, sitting on my desk.)   Stay tuned for more, including weapons!

Review: Onell Design Glyos Crayboth Cultivator Action Figure

The Crayboth Cultivator is one of a ton of new and seemingly exclusive to Crayboth figure colors put out by Onell Design last year. Normally we'd get one or two per wave, but we ended up with batches of the things with a surprisingly large amount of the little crab aliens.

Review: Plastic Imagination Rise of the Beasts Rhinoceros - Silver Mail-Away Redemption

O nameless beast, from you we can know the great secret of the universe! Maybe not - but I will say that the Rhinoceros - Silver Mail-Away Redemption is a low-run mail-in freebie cast in metallic black PVC and painted exceptionally well. He has no name of his own, and the figure itself is basically the grey painted one with silver swapped out - and man, is it pretty. I work mostly in a basement so it's darker down here and the silver positively glows. The reflective paint looks sharp.

Kabuto Mushi Building Challenge Has Massive Glow Prize Pack

You'll want to check this one out.    THEGODBEAST Glyos Universe & Kabuto Mushi Building Challenge update!!! is a contest where, apparently, you can win all of the above stuff.   I'd love to buy some of those myself, and since I have no skills I'll have to leave it to you to win everything here - it's an impressive lot, so click here and see if you have what it takes to get toys and not pay for them.

In Case You Missed It - Onell Design Database Launched

A not-totally-complete but superbly fun Official Glyos Database has launched and you probably need to see it.  You won't find all the Custom Corps or promo freebie figures here, but it's a great way to sort and pour over hundreds of figures from over the better part of the last decade.   Do go check it out!

Review: Plastic Imagination Rise of the Beasts Scorpion - Flesh

It's Christmas, so let's look at something that I didn't necessarily originally want. The 60mm Scorpion - Flesh is one of three unpainted figures from the initial runs of these molds, and dagnabbit, it's pretty good. Creator Jon Karis runs LittleRubberGuys.com, which covers the male action toy figures that are too small to be deemed "action figures" by the serious (read: boring) adult collector. It's a wonderful site and a great resource, mostly because this is where you're going to see Japanese capsule figures or American Garbage Pail Kids figures early - it's not wildly active, but it's one of those sites that I personally find informative and useful. The biggest success in that little rubber figure space is, in the eyes of many American fans, Mattel's M.U.S.C.L.E. - and this figure (as well as his Rhino companion) are a tribute to that classic line of toy figures.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Crayboth Disruptor MK II Action Figure

The Crayboth Disruptor MK II should look familiar - the original Crayboth 2-packs stuck around for a while, with the original Disruptor hitting over 5 years ago. He was a little darker, featured panel lines, and the tip of his "blaster" arm is painted on the new version. This basically makes him a rerun, but the original has been gone for a while and this one is a tad more vibrant.
