Review: Onell Design Glyos December 2015 Stowaway Crayboth Action Figure

A different orange! The December 2015 Stowaway Crayboth was a freebie in my box (thank you!) and as such, is not for sale. It's similar to the Sunstorm color (that I don't have) but I have no idea if it's an unpainted version of that figure, or a differentish shade of orange we'll see return in a new drop. After missing a few promo Crayboth and and a drop or two, I'm no longer all-in on the little guys but I was happy to get this one (and a few others I sprang for) in this particular box.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Hades Pheyden MK IV Action Figure

A promise kept! Earlier this year MK III shipped and sold out fast - so Onell Design promised more. They delivered with Hades Pheyden MK IV a very similar release with the Hades tampo on the right shoulder - a first, I believe! The original had a hand-cast scarf, the second was a black unpainted Sarvos body with one of the first wide-release scarves, the third added the green paint applications as well as included the Gobon Blaster, and this one adds the tampo. Obviously you don't need them all, but you can see it's evolving for the better over time.

Nazgar the Robo-Force Figure

Via The World of ToyFinity, the Nazgar wave was posted!  The first-ever Nazgar toy as well as other new builds were posted and mostly sold through.  Ah well, kids - you missed some Zeroids and other awesomeness!

Banimon Pseudo Custom Corps on Friday

Friend of the site/best friend I've never met Seth Longmire of Orbitdyne Customs is participating in a new Banimon drop on Friday - it's basically a Custom Corps.

This post on the Banimon blog confirms the launch at 9:00 PM Eastern on Friday, February 5.

This post on the Orbitdyne blog offers a tiny peek and what's coming - and it does appear to be very colorful!

Onell x Rawshark x Music = This Record

Here's a bit of a tangent - but not really.  Marc Beaudette of Onell Design fame not only does some spiffy design work, but sells some swell music stuff over at Music ADD.   I ordered a cassette from one of his projects and asked what else he could sell me - and he point me to this.

The Macrotones put out this 12" record featuring layout work by Mr. Beaudette as well as Jesse "Callgrim/Rawhark" Moore cover art of some stupendously cool alien mammoth skull.  Of course I ordered it.  If you want one, click here.  Twelve bones.

This is a new semi-translucent figure, and it'll be joined by... we don't know yet.  Tuesday, January 19th at 9:30 PM Eastern will reveal (and I quote) "crossover action and a few surprises" so it's probably worthwhile to stay tuned.

Me, I'm still hoping and praying for more Outer Space Men, but I'm hopeless.

Review: Onell Design Glyos Neo Granthan Gatorrior Mercenary Action Figure

While shelf space and being realistic about dollars spent made me have to cut back from being all-in on the Granthans, I couldn't resist this Neo Granthan Gatorrior Mercenary. I loved getting the various wolves, and now that the gator-like alien is being done in Gruesome Gator colors? How can I possibly say no?

Review: Onell Design Glyos Glyarmor Hades Trooper Action Figure

A new mold! We don't get a ton of all-new molds, and it's worth noting that the Glyarmor Hades Trooper is actually just an add-on for the regular Pheyden figure. Well, it would be - but it's sold as a set. 12 new pieces were tooled up and assembled on the Pheyden body, meaning that if you use as many of the new parts as possible you'll still have 4 limbs and 2 heads left over unused. It's kind of a waste - there are lots of spare arms, legs, and heads as well as torsos out there, but nobody has a surplus of hands and feet to make other new figures from.
