Battle Tribes Brings Micronauts Back Friday at Noon Pacific

Well that's a fun surprise!  Over on Instagram we saw some nice reveals of the Spy Monkey Creations newest drop, scheduled for Friday, June 16 at 12:00 PM Pacific.  It looks pretty cool.  Click here to see what's currently for sale.

Hasbro currently has the Micronauts trademark and hasn't been doing a heck of a lot with it other than a couple of San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive items in the last decade.  Threats of movies have come and gone without anything to show for it, and numerous episodes of an animated cartoon are said to have been completed without any plans to release them.  Marvel recently announced reprints of the old comic series, so at least you've got that.

New Bio-Masters Friday - Big Eyes

Get ready! The next drop, The Return to the Fortress of Terror and the Cult of the All Seeing Eye, hits 9:00 PM Central on Friday, June 5!

We heard from the Bio-Masters team early and it's riddled with crossovers - if you're a fan of Onell Design or Battle Tribes, or The Godbeast's work, you'll especially want to check this out.

Battle Tribes and Healey Made Drops Incoming

New!   Healey Made and Battle Tribes shops will be getting updated with new toys this week.

The Healey Made Instagram confirmed a drop would be on Monday, April 20 but not what or when.  His previous figure is the Commander Raider, and if it's still in stock Monday I may order one.  I have the Shadow Raider and it's a gem.

Far less of a mystery is the Chuck Norris and Ninja-influenced Battle Tribes drop.   3 new figures with tons of gear and heads go up at 6:00 PM Pacific on 4/22.  Some older figures are still available.

Thursday: Tron-Inspired Battle Tribes from Spy Monkey Creations

Via the Battle Tribes Instagram: "see the other heads and find out what the “????” Items for each figure are!! Drop 2/13 6 pm pt!!"

At least four Tron-inspired figures are up for grabs this Thursday.  Mark your calendars!

Battle Tribes Return Friday - Blue Glow, Golden Axes

Via the Battle Tribes Instagram: "Our Berserker and Adventurer need a mighty stead to ride into battle! We give you the Chicken Beast! Our first run of the awesome The Bio-Mass monster!"

What's more, blue glow figures will be included.

That new drop is released Friday, July 5, at 6:00 PM Pacific time.

Battle Tribes Wave 8 Tonight

Tonight at 6:00 PM Pacific, you can grab Wave 8 of Battle Tribes from Spy Monkey Creations!  5 new figures (or a complete set of 5) are up for ordering with heads and weapons you may not yet have.  It's a strong concept in some nifty colors, and you can preview them on the store until they go live later tonight.

New Spy Monkey Monsters, Demons, and Creatures in Battle Tribes

On the GlyosConnect forums, Spy Monkey posted a sneaky peek of this Friday's drop - with prices, and new parts  Check out the new heads, including a bat, a skull, a hooded head, a pterosaur, and a Cthuloid creature.  Another head looks like it'll give Darkenss a run for his money, so be sure to check these out.

Review: Spy Monkey Creations Battle Tribes DX Crimson Spikesaurian 2.0

I missed the first release, so it was nice to see that the second run of the DX Crimson Spikesaurian 2.0 was available and had arguably better deco - the shield has an added T-rex skull on it. With five accessories and six heads, there's a lot you can get out of a single figure - and you're charged accordingly.

Spy Monkey Creations - New Drop Live Now

A new drop!  Spy Monkey Creations debuted a new drop with 10 new figures.  An all-in package was $124 (no discount over singles) with individual figures in the very, very slow-loading shop ranging from $10 to $15 each.  The first-ever glow-in-the-dark figures were joined by some very nice new colorways with some of their more creative paint applications.

New Battle Tribes Next Week - Glow!

UPDATE: Drop confirmed Monday October 10, 6:00 PM Pacific.   

Remember when it used to feel like Glyos would go and not do much for months at a time?  Well, that's over.

On Spy Monkey Creations' Facebook we see plans for another Battle Tribes drop - a very good one - set to hit online shelves in 7-10 days.  Glow figures, a figure that looks vaguely like Prince, and some very nice He-Man-ish paint jobs.  It's worth checking out.

A ton - ton - of pictures of the new figures and alternate heads may be scoped out on their Instagram.

New Glyos Line - Battle Tribes

Spy Monkey Creations has brought us some pretty cool weapons and the Weaponeers of Monkaa line, and their next new thing is Battle Tribes.  This was revealed on October Toys' Toy Break, and the above image was being forwarded around late Friday night.  (You can see some more of Toy Break via stills here.)

The line is expected to launch at noon Pacific on Friday, April 8.  Painted figures are $15, unpainted figures are $10.  Each figure includes one of each head, all of the armor and weapon bits, and that's not bad.  They appear to be similar in size to the great Rise of the Beasts line.
