Pre-Order Now: Manglors Wave 1.5 Menu, Mangord First Impressions

 Surprise! After a quick sell-out, ToyFinity posted a pre-order for a rerun of the standard Manglord as well as "Proto" deco Mordles and Manglord figures.  Pre-order wraps Friday, figures expected in May.

Click here for the press release/news post.  I just got my Manglord in the mail this afternoon, and I'd say it's worth picking up if you're a 3 3/4-inch figure fan.  He's smaller than Outer Space Men Colossus Rex/Star Wars The Vintage Collection Yak Face, but bigger than Kenner's Marvel Legends Retro Venom.  Review to follow... but be sure you buy at least one Manglord and I'd recommend those Kaisyriax update arms for funsies, too.

I wish our pal John Kent wild success... and not just because we hope he cranks out Manglodragons and various dinosaurs in the next few years, too.

Press Release from Toyfinity : After forty years, the MANGLORS are back!

For decades, the legends of their horrors have persisted.
The eggs, hidden in the depths of FOSSIL POINT, have existed in a state of hibernation.
Now, after forty years of silence, the volcano of MANGLOR MOUNTAIN has erupted again -
and the MANGLORS - are back!

In 1983, the Ideal Toy Company introduced the "stick-icky creatures from another dimension", the Action Aliens known as the Manglors.
Comprised of both ferocious warriors and incredible creatures, these beings "made of the strangest stuff on earth" - sorbothane - were stretchy, sticky clay-like monstrosities.
The incredible box art by the late, great Ken Kelly promised the ultimate warriors of terror, but a perplexing marketing decision prompting kids to tear them apart doomed the line.
Not even the addition of the amazing Prehi-Storage Eggs in 1984 could save the Manglors from tumbling into the toyboxes of obscurity.

In 2013, Toyfinity officially acquired the rights to the Manglors.
Developed for ten years, redesigned from the combined minds of Matt Doughty and Erwin Papa, the new Manglord stands tall at 4.25 inches of power!
The reimagined Manglors utilize the GLYOS SYSTEM of joint technology, allowing them to finally fulfill their original promise of "tear em apart / stick em back together again!"
Additionally, you can mix Manglors parts with any other Glyos compatible toyline to create your own custom monstrosities.

The initial release of the new Manglors was on 1/29/2023 - with the standard classic colors Manglord selling out in less than two hours.
