While not limited to 1138 pieces, the Trooper (THX) hit during Comic-Con in San Diego and was a highlight... of things not at the show. When this figure first appeared, you could pick out a lot of Stormtrooper elements so it seemed a given that it would be sold as a white Stormtrooper some day. And I was close - this is a black plastic figure with a nice layer of non-glossy white paint on it. I was expecting a white plastic figure with black painted bodysuit elements. Who knew?

Review: The Outer Space Men Bluestar Gamma-X Action Figure
As one of the second year prototypes from the 1960s, most people didn't get any flavor of the figure that would become Bluestar Gamma-X until about 10 years ago. He's neat! Peak midcentury design with nifty b-movie antennae, clamp-on armor, and a couple of blasters make for a notable figure. You can get him in green, a painted version, or a white version - but the blue one is pretty spectacular. The blue back armor is glow plastic with a painted blue interior! It's striking, to say the least.

Review: Onell Design Traveler Stowaway Light Blue 2023 Pheyden Action Figure
What can you say about the nameless (but I'm calling it) Traveler Stowaway Light Blue 2023 Pheyden that hasn't been said about other figures? It's colored just like Pheyden Prime and matches the Light Blue 2023 parts and pieces, with no paint other than the eyes. There's a subtle pink ring in each eye, which makes this figure a distant colorway cousin of Queen Kirallius [FOTD #2,186] from 2020.

Review: Onell Design Traveler Gearius Granthan Drifter
A somewhat familiar face! The Traveler Gearius Granthan Drifter figure is at least the fourth iteration of Gearius, but he's also a bit like Gears Edge Pheyden [FOTD #8] from the very first wave of Onell Design figures. It's a good, realistic look with a brown body and an orange head. And a blue head. Also two brown heads. And a couple of capes, a scarf, and an alternate torso. It's a pity Onell Design never put together arm and feet expansion sets, because you almost get two whole figures in a little baggie.
