More Kabuto Mushi Coming Friday August 30

The Apocalypse (wave) is coming this week!  Friday August 30 at 8:00 PM Central, according to Instagram.

Panel lines will make a rare appearance in the 33rd wave of The Godbeast's ongoing toy line, with new flavors of Kabuto Mushi and Nemesis up for grabs. Gorgeous.  Bookmark the store here.

Review: Toy Pizza Forest Capsule Carrying Case

I already had one in chrome, but I had to get the Forest Capsule Carrying Case too - I wanted one that didn't show fingerprints as easily as the Regen Capsule [FOTD #2,114]. It's a wonderfully simple toy, with a design that is a pastiche of the Knights of the Slice figure, the various Pharoids and related Micronauts capsule, and a hint of Kenner carrying case. As a toy, it's not terribly interesting unless you want to futz with the six Glyos ports, or are fidgety, or like putting things inside of other things. I like all of this, so I found this to be very exciting.

Review: TheGodBeast Cerulestar Nemesis Action Figure

I snagged the blue glow-in-the-dark Cerulestar Nemesis from TheGodBeast and it was the very first officially released blue glow Glyos-compatible action figure, along with Kabuto Mushi. I had not previously snagged a Nemesis (I still want to get green glow) - so this seemed like a good place to get one. The translucent coloring has blue and white painted highlights that are very nouveau Boo Berry, which is amusing as Marty's "Cereal Monster" colored figures look a bit different than this one.

Toy Pizza UV Knights - 12:00 PM Eastern Monday

Via the Toy Pizza Instagram: UV Knights!  5 figures are set to drop Monday, August 5, at about 12:00 PM Eastern time.  I don't have any UV figures but it looks like there's a nifty color-change feature and as such, I will probably have to buy one or two.
