Spy Monkey Creations On Hiatus

Makers of numerous action figure accessories and Glyos-compatible upgrade parts, Spy Monkey Creations announced they would be going on hiatus immediately. Their announcement promises a return in 2012, but that means that their current items are no longer available for sale in the interim.

If you're unfamiliar with their many offerings, take a look at their Toast-Orr accessory designed for the Wun-Dar Masters of the Universe Classics figure and the nifty (and far more on-topic) Glyos Accessory Packs, particularly the squid-esque designs.

SandMuppet Studios Gaijin Warrior Incoming

Creator Super_SandBagger is creating a Gaijin Warrior. He's been keeping people posted on the October Toys forums, but he also has a recent update on his blog and Flickr page.

Teasers (and presumably, the drop) are promised very soon. From the forum posting this is a small run, under 50 pieces in various colors. Previously, the artisans made a snapping turtle-inspired figure with an amazing head sculpt and a gnarly shell accessory.
