Review: Healey Made Raider (GID Blue) Action Figure

 I picked up a few different versions of this figure but initially skipped the Raider (GID Blue). Obviously, I went back and got it when an opportunity came up - and for $5 under a painted figure price, it's pretty decent. A low-run 3 3/4-inch figure with almost no paint may not sound appealing, but if you've been following you know it's cool because an ex-Kenner sculptor worked on it, and because it's a Glyos system figure. That means the glow is good - it can glow for hours when charged by the Sun. For those keeping track, blue glow charges slowly but glows for hours. Red charges quickly, but burns out quickly. And green is in the middle.

Healey Made - Three Wise Kings? New Glyos Figures This Weekend

I'm an easy mark for retro-style 3 3/4-inch figures, and this is shaping up to be a great month for it.   Entertainment Earth just got in a bunch of The Retro Collection Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett figures from Hasbro this week, and now Healey Made has a Dungeon Magi drop on Saturday, December 9, at 2:00 PM Eastern.

I don't know what it is specifically, but the comments say "3 figures, existing sculpts."  So I'd assume nifty gifty versions of Trooper, Assassin, and Raider - if you don't already have them in another colorway, mark your calendars and bookmark the Healey Made Shop.

Glyos Onell Design December 3 2023 Drop Menu

I missed a few! But you can order Onell Design Wave 99 right now.  Glow-in-the-dark, black, silver, and green plastic figures are up for grabs while supplies last, so check the store.  A glow-in-the-dark Gauss Armor plus nifty new configurations of the Buildman and others should make this an exciting drop... if you got to it in time.
