New Drop - Toy Pizza Hyper Eel vs. Combat Bugmen
Stuff sold out fast! The Toy Pizza Hyper Eel vs. Combat Bugmen Drop saw the return and quick exit of some new figures and a few old ones, but you can still order some gorgeous and colorful Glyos figures. Will we see even more soon? I hope so! Until then, get some of these guys, support your indie toymakers and non-chain toy stores, and let's hope things get a whole more boring in the neat future.
Review: Onell Design Glyos Phaseon Renegade Hybrid Caliber
I got a lot of Glyos figures. I don't need
more of them - but the Onell Design crew finds interesting ways to make
multiple purchases interesting. This Phaseon Renegade Hybrid Caliber
takes the very early odd ball Beanbot mold - which was tweaked to be a
Phaseon - and transforms it yet again with parts from Phase Arm upgrade
sets, a newly-tooled head, plus a new cloth cape which was also used
with the Onell Design Glyos Gobon Renegade Hunter [FOTD #2,127]
and a few other figures. The new head and cloth piece were designed
to work in multiple configurations on multiple bodies, which is sort of
the entire brilliance of this whole line. One small piece can give you a
handful of new build options.

Review: Onell Design Lost Sincrodrone Beta
This Lost Sincrodrone Beta arrived
on a particularly cold day - and that's important. Early Glyos
releases sometimes needed to be warmed a bit so the plastic had a bit
more "give" to it so you could swap parts - and this new set of parts
requires some heat. I had to dip the lower torso in warm water so the
legs could be inserted. The body block piece is very tight, and fitting
stuff in there is initially difficult - but not impossible, if you've
got a cup of boiling water.[ READ THE FULL REVIEW ]

Review: Toy Pizza Zoner Capsule Silver Vehicle Mode
When the pre-order went live for the Zoner Capsule Silver Vehicle Mode I figured it'd be a good purchase - and then forgot I ordered it. The previous Regen Capsule [FOTD #2,114]
was a nifty nod to things like the Micronauts Pharoid and the C-3PO
carry case, but the new one goes a bit farther. You can open it at the
hinged joint to store a figure, or lay it on its belly for a vehicle
mode. There's more going on here - it hints at moai styling while also
recalling bits and pieces of vehicles like the Batmobile. There's a
lot going on here - including a fully-detailed interior with a monitor
and various buttons that are clearly modeled after the Kenner Power
Droid "face" of old. The two-mode toy owes a lot to Mattel's Hot Wheels Zombot [FOTD #803] - it can be two things, depending on how you orient it on your shelf. This is a toy for toy fans.

Review: Cappy Space x Nemo's Factory x Cappy Space C-Ps&Qs
This is a gem. C-Ps&Qs was a
D-Con 2019 debut which sold online later, and made use of the Nemo's
Factory figure mold to make a gold robot that looks like another famous
gold robot - sort of. The alternate heads are also nice - and you get
three in all.
